(Why is it candids are always my favorite?)

I had the privilege of taking my cousin’s family pictures in December. I posted a few of my favorites on my flickr if you care to take a peek. (They have a ridiculously cute family, a very strong draw in my book). Anyway. I’m particularly fond of this one, even if it is a little blurry; the joy on Jackson’s face is just so perfect.

Disneyland today with various cousins…
(We’re actually not going over to California Adventure at all, I just like this picture. I’m sure you all needed to know that. The end.)
I’m heading out to Palm Springs tomorrow morning for a little mother-daughter bonding time.
(I’m the daughter in this scenario, thanks much.)
Anyway, I’m seriously looking forward to hitting up all the vintage/thrift stores possible, relaxing by the pool, and chowing down on some delicious food… But most of all I’m looking forward to having some QT with my momma. She has been such a fantastic example to me of all that a strong Christian woman should be (not to mention she has an excellent sense of humor.) So yeah. I’m pretty glad she’s my mother. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
My uncle just stopped by with these amazing lemon bars from Euro Pane Bakery in Pasadena. They are the best I’ve ever had. And that is not an exaggeration.
I feel like one of these would be a perfect anniversary gift for my brother and his wife. She loves succulents, and he… well, he’s pretty much a kid in disguise as a 28 year-old.
